Destiny Produce is a Malawian social enterprise working in agricultural sector in Malawi. The enterprise focuses on linking farmers to markets by creating such market for the farmers. The enterprise does not own any farm; it uses the strategy of creating a network of groups of farmers. Destiny Produce empowers these farmers by boosting their production through equipment grants and donations and training them in sustainable agricultural practices. Currently, Destiny Produce is in partnership with 57 horticultural farmers at Lusangazi in the outskirts of Mzuzu City.
Destiny Produce, in conjunction with an organization known as Revolution Human Aid and Transparency Initiative (REHAAT-INITIATIVE) is supporting farmers with farm inputs and equipment to improve production and quality of the farm produce. The farm produce is sold through shop outlets owned and run by Destiny Produce, through mobile outlets in strategic locations around Mzuzu and surrounding areas and supplying directly to companies, organizations and supermarkets.
